Welcome to Rockledge Vineyards

High on the eastern slopes of Napa Valley just south of the town of St. Helena is a saddle covered with loose rocky soil that extends down the benchland. On this precipitous ledge the 12 acre Rockledge estate vineyard is perched. It's not that the rocks in our vineyard give off a lot of flavor. Their role is to take up space and deprive the vine of soil nutrients. Without struggle, there is no intensity.
